Ashutosh specializes in large scale object oriented database solutions. With over 15 years of experience with object oriented databases, Ashutosh has helped design, build and deploy several products and solutions in large scale information and workflow management.
He is currently developing the architecture of a large patents repository that utilizes Hadoop with HBase for clustered storage, SOLR for search, Neo4J for inter-document relationship graphs all synchronized together to form an eventually consistent, highly scalable and extremely responsive back end for the demanding and business critical research team based in a large company. He is also involved in an upcoming video based product that uses a cloud hosted repository combined with a large volume of EPG data streams from thousands of TV channels across the world.
Ashutosh excels at finding the simplest solutions to complex business and technical problems and has a vast experience in managing large scale projects using off shore and on-site development teams. He is continuously seeking out new products and solutions that leverage Nosql (Not Only SQL) databases, cloud computing, asynchronous I/O frameworks and multi-device interfaces.
Ashutosh is a founding member of the Business Process Council, a non-profit platform to collaboratively build a business process repository to educate and train individuals on best practices, and to develop a benchmark for companies to evaluate their processes
